Franc is Lawyer with more of five decades of work exypirience. He was an advisor to the President and a member of the Presidency of the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia, a delegate to the Council of Republics and Provinces of the Federal Assembly of the SFRY (Member of the Committee for Economic Relations with Foreign Countries and Member of the Legislative Commission of the Council of Republics and Provinces). He was the Director of SKB Real Estate & Leasing and the Executive director for capital investments of SKB Bank Slovenia. He was the chairman of the Board of Directors of SKB Bank Slovenia, a Member of Supervisory Board of "CA SKB - Leasing" and a Member of Supervisory Board of "NS Generali - SKB Zavarovalnica".
For ten years he taught at the School for Managers of the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia and at the School for Personnel in Foreign Trade. Since 1977th, he has been a lecturer at the Days of Slovenian Lawyers, and since 2008th at the Real Estate Days in Portorož. He is one of the founders of the Slovenian Real Estate Association - FIABCI Slovenia in 1992nd and its honorary member. He was the President of the Association of Business Lawyers of Slovenia, the President of the Federation of Business Lawyers Associations of Yugoslavia and now serves as the Vice-President of the Association of Lawyers of Slovenia. He has published several scientific papers and books, is the co-author of the book "Leasing Agreement" (F. Gerbec, B. Košir - GV Zalozba, 1999), co-author of the Commentary on the Law on Enterprises (GV Zalozba, 1989) and co-author of the Commentary on the Law on Economic Relations with foreign countries (1989). He has the real estate broker's license.
